Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Pacific BMW

October marks another month for breast cancer awareness. Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in the United States, affecting 1 in 8 women. In 2016, an estimated 250,000 new cases of breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S.

Here at Pacific BMW we are marking our 10th year of fundraising. Employees were allowed to wear jeans in exchange for their minimum five-dollar donation to the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society is one of the largest voluntary health organization in the United States, which is committed to “saving lives and finishing the fight against cancer”.

With the generous donations from employees here at Pacific BMW, we managed to raise $587 which will go directly to lifesaving research, education and care for patients in need.
