Here at Pacific BMW we are constantly seeking ways to be of benefit for a greater cause and the month October has been no exception. In support of the American Cancer Society and Breast Cancer Awareness, on October 6, 2017 Pacific BMW participated in the American Cancer Society Denim Day marking the 11th year of fundraising.
Denim day began in 1996 and since then, participants have raised over $96 million dollars to help save lives from breast cancer. Denim day began as a simple concept where companies decided to “go casual” in exchange for a simple donation. Since then, the idea has spread on a national level and now schools, companies, and other organizations have participated in raising funds.
Pacific BMW is proud to be a supporter of the American Cancer Society and Denim Day was a success! With generous donations ranging from $5 to $10 dollars from fellow employees, we managed to raise $432.00 dollars. Your Denim Day donations will help save more lives and will continue to support research, treatments, and programs.
Once again, thank you to all employees who participated and for your generous donations!
