Movember

As an employee, it is great to be apart of a culture that is always looking for ways to give back and bring awareness. In Honor of Movember, Pacific BMW contributed to the annual event involving the growing of mustaches and facial hair during the month of November. This is a way of raising awareness for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. The goal of No-Shave November has always been about growing awareness of these issues by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting our hair grow wild and free.

Employees were asked to donate the money that was typically spent on shaving and grooming products, to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting those battles. Employees that donated a minimum of $5, were given the opportunity to wear their favorite pair of jeans to work that Friday, as well as they were entered into a raffle contest. The winners of the raffle were given a traditional Thanksgiving dish to take home.

Victor Murillo from the warranty department received a turkey, while Rene Karimyance from sales received a large pumpkin pie.
